Stewards of the Wild is pleased to invite you to join the Houston Chapter for its fourth annual Quail Hunt on Saturday, February 14th! We will be hunting with professional guides and dogs at the esteemed Walton Ranch in Millican, just southeast of College Station. This is a great opportunity for some premier Texas quail hunting for hunters of all experience and skill levels!

The hunt is limited to 20 hunters (4 hunters/guide). Tickets cover guide fees and tips, birds and bird cleaning, and must be purchased by Wednesday, February 11th. We look forward to seeing everyone out there!

Expectations & Reminders:
  • Please arrive at the camp by 7:45 AM
  • Valid Texas hunting license (with upland endorsement) & photo ID.
  • Proof of completed Hunter Education
  • Bring your own shotguns & shells. If you are a novice hunter and do not have a shotgun, please reach out to us, and we will provide an extra one for you.
  • Bird bag, shooting glasses, & earplugs.
  • Cooler to transport your birds home.
  • Bottled water, snacks & refreshments.
  • Coffee, tea, & lemonade will be provided at the camp house.
  • For your safety and the safety of others, please wear a cap, vest, or some type of clothing with fluorescent orange. For the safety of yourself & others, please do not wear camouflage.
